Message from the President - June 2025

Dear WAAA Members,

As we head into June, I encourage everyone to check our association calendar for the latest updates and opportunities to stay connected and engaged.

This month, we have two exciting events coming up:

• “Let’s Continue Talking AI” with Melissa D. White – June 18th, 12:00 PM–1:00 PM
  Join us for an insightful session as we continue exploring the evolving world of artificial intelligence.
• Drop-In Golf League – June 24th, 6:00 PM–8:30 PM
  Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just out for some fun, we hope to see you on the green.

On a more personal note, I want to share—on behalf of our entire board and membership—our heartfelt appreciation for James, our Executive Officer, as he prepares to take the next step in his professional journey. It’s with a heavy heart that we see him go, but it has been an absolute honor to work with and learn from him. His leadership, dedication, and impact on this association will be deeply missed. As a colleague and what I as well as many others have to come to call a close friend, we wish James the best of luck in his future endeavors.
